i did to Lynne![msnwink] catch you i meant!!!
Ah, the Renaissance is just great! We've been there three times on Christmas day and you need to have not eaten for a week beforehand to take advantage of all those tables just groaning with food.
The rest of the year, it's held on Sundays only so not on Thanksgiving as far as I know (a Thursday). If you want to go there around that time though, make sure you book up well in advance as it's very popular.

Thanks Blott.
I knew they did it for Christmas and this is not always on a Sunday, so thought they may do something similar for Thanksgiving. Wishful Thinking[msnwink]
We will try it in July and ask what they do for Thanksgiving[msnsmile2]

here I am at present looking for a modest priced hotels near the renaissance to book into the day we have lunch in the renaissance. we are giving our lone driver a treat afer all he is c elebrating his wedding anniversary too, and last year he could not have a glass of champagne. A taxi for us would cost a fortune and we shall use the time to visit some places on International Drive and next morning head straight to Seaworld nice and early. [msnmad][msnsmile]

The Renaissance isn't exactly modest priced but booking a room there also means you only have to stagger upstairs into bed or take one of the glass lifts if it's a good celebration!![]()

Sounds fantastic - and the picture of that chocolate fountain is making my mouth water...or could that simply be the fact that I'm on one of these 7 day diets and am absolutely SICK of fruit and salad [xx(]....bananas and milk day tomorrow[xx(][xx(]
Anyway, I know it's near Seaworld, but what's the best way to get to it...I think I'll start walking now!!
Farida,
Best way to get to Renaissance obviously depends on where you're staying. If you get onto Central Florida Parkway, heading west, you need to turn right at the first lights intersection past main Seaworld entrance. Travelling east on Central Florida it will be left at the lights before Seaworld. The Renaissance is then on your left side.
Oh......and if you're walking, it's quite a long way [msnwink]

OK so I'm hallucinating as well....(I'm imagining that I can walk on water too!!)-it's lack of food that's doing it[msnscared][msnscared][msnscared]...and thinking about that brunch DOES NOT HELP but I'll make sure it's on our list of 'to-dos' this summer![]()
Thanks for the phote Kevin. I think the Renaissance sounds just brill. By the way loved your trip report.
Polly
Blott you have twisted my arm , the Renaissance it is for the night and one less trip to the shopping mall, then we can do seaworld early on the Monday. Makes a lot of sense.
