    Short Stay parking at Gatwick

    Hi
Is there only 1 short stay carpark at Gatwick South Terminal? When we travel in a couple of weeks we are meeting at Gatwick to do the Twilight Checkin (1 party travelling in 2 vehicles from different parts of the country).

Just wondered how easy it would be to meet up at the short stay carpark. We will hopefully be arriving within 10 minutes of each other!

    Thanks for you help[msnsmile2]

    Hi Karen,
There are in fact 3 short stay car-parks - you need to follow the signs for short-term car parks, go through the barrier and then have a choice of car park 1,2 or 3.
Then you have several floors to choose from - probably best if you agree which car park you will use, and go from there[msnsmile]

    Thanks Dawn

If we were to park in different car parks, do you know if they all come out at the same place ie at the same entrance. Would it be easier for us to arrange a meeting place inside the terminal.

    Yes Karen,

They all end up at the same place - I would arrange to meet just inside the terminal, at the end (or beginning) of the escalator, or even at the check in desk. Take mobile phones, just in case you get lost![msnwink]

    Hi Karen

Instead of arranging to meet at the multi-story car parks, you might be better meeting outside one of the shops as you enter the arrivals hall in the south terminal. I would recommend the Whistlestop store as it's easy to find as you enter the terminal.
