Best Supermarket

For our first food shop for provisions on arrival, is it best to shop at Publix or Walmart?

I think we will be fairly close to both (on Indian Point) but am not sure whether one has a better choice in food than the other. We have shopped at Publix many years ago but never been to Walmart.

I tend to like walmart. Seem to be able to get everything in there.

Publix would get my vote, for a first food shop. There are fewer distractions there!

Publix as well, the hot chicken strips are much better than Walmarts!. Most prices are within a couple of cents but we prefer Publix, the new(ish) one south on the 27 is excellent

Wal-Mart's more of a superstore with a small food section but Publix is almost entirely food so we go for Publix.

Publix gets my vote, especially for a first food shop. Walmart can be VERY distracting when you are really only there for the food!! Save Walmart for a bigger trip Perhaps a few days in to your hols.[8D]

Publix for us, its easier when you are tired and just want food/supplies for first day[msnwink]

Publix for us as well. I always get distracted in Walmart and I think the food and choice in Publix is better.

if you just want to buy food then it has to be Publix. Great range and selection of food at very similar prices to Walmart

I will programme in a trip to Walmart a few days later!
