    where do you start?

on previous trips we have started the holiday ball rolling with a first day trip to the magic kingdom. we go shortly and the kids have suggested kicking off at a water park before a pm /eve visit to mk.

i suppose answers will differ between villa owners important jobs and visitors but, where do you visit/what do you do first?

sounds like a good idea to me Trev, we all know that lots of us would do the walmart/publix run and the pool but thats the day we arrive,
so for the first full day we go to somewhere relaxing and not to taxing cos we get tired but we're not into the water parks, but we go for a casual look around and this time we go will be on thursday so we are hoping to go Old Town, to see the motorbikes
casual nosey about and then have a drive around and down to Old Town for the car shows!thats our first full day
i suppose its what you like personally if your into the parks and up for it straight away then go for it, it does seem a good idea what your kids suggested!

We tend to go to SeaWorld the first full day as the kids love to see the dolphins and shuma
and off course Clive, Seamore and Winston.[msnsmile][clap]

We tend to do a theme park the first day as it is the only time we are up early enough to get there when it opens
We tend to leave the park a bit earlier too and spend the evening chilling in the pool.

We like to relax the next morning by the pool after a long Flight. Then head to Epcot early afternoon, by lunch everybody has recharged their batteries ready for the trek around the various countries doing the childrens mask an stamp tasks and also to watch the fireworks and light show REFLEXTIONS OF EARTH at 9pm. Around 6pm we generally book in at one of the restaurants around the lagoon. Our fav is the Tapenyaki at Japan.

We did Seaworld on our first day, only because we had things to do regarding the villa and we bought annual passes for Seaworld so it made no difference really.
    MAde a nice change.
We did MK on our second day after we had had a good nights sleep!

like gary and Sam , we've tended to go to seaworld first day. Nice and relaxing, and if you sit in the front at the shamu show, you can save time not having to have a shower[msnwink]
Water park then disney sounds good, but speaking for myself i'd have a hard job keeping the kids up too late, with us all having been up 5 am

We always spend the first day getting the time difference sorted, we usually wake really early try and stay in bed till at least 6am then get up have a leasurely breakfast around the pool and then go shopping, have a walk around Old Town etc. Have an early evening meal and then back to the pool, we try to stay awake till about 10pm but then usually have an early night, we are then ready for the rest of the holiday

We usually get up at some silly early hour and have a lazy day doing some food shopping for the villa then often spend the afternoon having a BBQ by the pool. Don't really like to plan too much for the first day but by the second we are raring to go.....[8D]
