We stayed at Country Creek last September during the hurricane!
It's not a gated community and as far as I'm aware there's no security.

Country Creek Estates is just behind our villa at Eagle Pointe. It's not gated or with security as far as I know. It's located very conviently near to a Wal-Mart and I would say the drive to Disney gates is no more than 10 minutes and Sea World is approx.15 minutes at the most.
An ideal location.
