UK House prices - how much did your neighbour pay?

A friend pointed me at this site, similar-ish idea to the property appraiser sites from the US.

Very interesting, a house about 400 yards from us has just been sold for £3,250,000 - only wish ours was worth the same[msnwink]

    That's handy Harry.

Wonder how long it takes to update? A house similar to ours was sold about a month ago but it's not yet listed.

I did read somewhere the master site is only to be updated annually. My brother has been looking for a house sold last Nov/Dec and it is still not listed.

Repeat only read that - not an official source of information
