Hi, can anyone help?
I log into the forum, it says I've been succesful and I appear on the list at the top. As soon as I access any topics it shows that I am not logged in & so of course I cant enter any password protected areas. Ive have cleared my cookies several times over the last few days but nothing seems to work. When I log in it says there are no active topics since I last visited so obviously logging out isnt working either. Just don't know what else to do!!![msncry]

Dawn, when you've cleared your cookies, you need to enter the password for each area that requires one to create new cookies. After that, you should be OK.

Hi Blott, thanks for that, but it's not even giving me the option! I click on say, owners area & it just takes me straight out to all forums again & doesn't show me as logged on! Doesn't give me the usual "you need a password for this page" type warning![msnsad]

Sounds to me that you have something blocking cookies being saved on your PC. Until this is set to allow forum cookies you are not going to get any further.

I had that the other day...but its ok now.....I had to look twice to make sure I was signing in the right place.......which I was.....but have been known not too......[msnembarrased][msnembarrased]

Any ideas what this could be? I'm sure I haven't done anything different recently - I downloaded the new google toolbar but I've taken it off now & still no joy! I'm worried i may be missing something!!![msnembarrased]

Sorry - was going to add to my last post but got called away.
It could be Internet Explorer security settings being too high, something like Norton Internet Security or any othr security software. Something somewhere on your PC is blocking the forum cookies.

I have had that problem a number of times too i.e. it doesn't 'recognise' me. I haven't cleared my cookies and have no problems with cookies on other sites.
I close down and next time(usually) I am logged in.
The forum does not do anything special with cookies that any other sites do not do so I guess it's just bad luck sometimes.
