Has anyone eaten at the 'Ohana buffet at the Polynesian. I thought it sounded rather nice.

Disney character braekfast buffets are fantastic, highly recommend Grand Floridian. Ponderosa was not for me at all, though the food was fine to be fair, it was just VERY busy and I guess that gave it a bit of a yuk rating.

We also did the Grand Floridian, but for dinner. Really good, and great if you have young girls who want to see Cinderella!

We are not that keen on Ponderosa, tried it a couple of times. The chinese all you can eat's we have tried seem to be just about fair. They don't compare to some of the regular places. Our favourite for chinese is Ming Court on I Drive. Bit pricy but well worth it. It must be good as it always has lots of oriental people eating there.

    Hi Liz
We ate at the Ohana Restaurent at the Polynesian. What a super evening. They keep comming round with more bar-b cooked meats such as Chicken, Pork, Steak, Massive Prawns etc.. You will not go home hungery. We booked a table for 8.00 pm and were still eating when the fireworks display took place over Magic Kingdom. The music for the display was piped into the resturant and we had a brilliant view.
We will certianly be going back next time.
Even though we booked in advance we still had to que to get in.

How much to these buffets cost?

Anyone particularly know how much the pizza hut one costs?

Oh, and are there any buffet restaurants that do chicken, all kinds, especially wings?

Ponderosa is $8.99 and upwards, + drinks. They do nice wings and chicken nibbles as part of the buffet, but would not recommend the entree.

We found a great place, top of International Drive, can't remember the name of it but it was something to do with trains. Really good food, great prices and top service from staff. Does anyone know the one I mean?

(newbie, will introduce myself when I find out how).

Mary I think you mean Whistlestop Junction? On the right hand side as you approach Belz.

We went for a meal in March as we were up that way, and your right, it was pretty good for an "all you care to eat" buffet.

Another good one is Villa de Flora at Gaylord Palms, they have a different country menu each night I believe. We went to Greek night, and it was delicious [msnsmile]

We did the Ohana Character breakfast last year. The food was great and the atmosphere even better. I will definitely try the dinner when I go in July.

[msnsmile2]It makes me laugh how they phase that "All you care to eat" I think they think that if it is phrased "all you can eat" we might look upon it as a challenge...lol[laugh]

We did the Grand Floridian and were very disappointed - food in my view is very over rated and service with a smile was no where to be seen, and for the money I would give it 0 out of 10[msnsad]
