    Please help this girl!

    I received this email today.............

    Dear All
Some you may be aware that I was caught up in the disaster that
    unfolded
on Boxing Day last year whilst in the Maldives. I was quite
    distressed to
recieve an email yesterday regarding a little girl that is still over
    in
Thailand following the Tsunami that claimed so many lives.
The text below is pasted directly from the original email that I
    recieved.
Please forward this mail to as many people as you can......somebody
somewhere in the world must know this little girl.

This little girl is at the PHUKET HOSPITAL- She does not remember her
    own
name or anything about herself. She has lost her parents, please
    forward
this EMAIL and picture to all your contacts - someone might recognise
    her.
She was a victim of the tidal wave disaster in Phuket, Thailand and
    nobody
knows who she is so we are hoping if we distribute this EMAIL around
    the
world someone God willing will know her.
Please don't just delete this - your contribution could be the one
    that
    solves this little girl's problem.
Even if you are one of the people who believes that it is always
    someone
else's obligation to help the misfortunate, please know that
    forwarding
this will cost you nothing. Let's help!! Forward this to everyone you
    can.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Lee Stone

Lets hope we can help in some way[msnsad]

Please forward this to as many people as you can!

A rough translation of the press release reads:
Police Dept. Hochtaunus (West Hessen) press release:

With the stories coming out of media reports about those lost in the sea earthquake in Asia on 26 Dec. 2004, there has been the report of the luck of Sophia Marleen MICHL from Germany.

Sophia was seriously injured in the undersea earthquake, but survived and was admitted to the Vachira Hospital in Phuket.

On 29 Dec. 2004, Sophia was able to be transported from Thailand to Germany, and is receiving further medical treatment here. (Germany) She is doing reasonably well considering the circumstances. She is being lovingly cared for by her relatives. The status of her parents is at this point unknown.

Through the attention of the media and the help of local citizens, it was possible to identify her relatives and deliver Sophia into their hands.

Because of this, a special thank you is being sent out to all the volunteer helpers, but everyone is also requested to please hold off on questions and emails so that Sophia can recover from her experiences within the circle of her family.
Unfortunately, Sophia's parents, Norbert and Edeltraud Michl, remain among the missing.
