but you pay with virgin flights?

We have used it since it started (Except after 9/11) I don't think the $5 is enforced that much, we have not flown Virgin Holidays most times and not been charged. Also last year they never even weighed our cases.

We've always had to pay $5 per person - but think it is well worth it to have an "extra day" free from your luggage!

We got our tickets (Virgin Flights and Package) last week and they have our Downtown Disney Check-in Vouchers in the wallet. We haven't been told we have to pay anything, so will assume that this is a free service. We have booked everything through Virgin except Park Tickets and Car Hire, we got those on this site.[msnsmile2]

    5 Days to go.[clap][clap][clap]

There is a small charge Angela ?$5 unless you are travelling PE or Upper, but it is well worth it[msnsmile]
Also worth rememberimg if you've never been to Downtown Disney, it's at Disney's Westside which is the opposite end to the Market place. Like Ruth says it is in the carpark behind Cirque du Soleil and very easy to find.

London Girl - not wanting to hijack and change the topic of this thread but did you book everything via Virgin Holidays. If so what did you do regarding the car hire. The reason I ask is I have booked a Fly Drive via VH but just left the car hire at the standard 7 days and then booked via this site with the intention of not picking the VH/Dollar car up. I have since been told Virgin try to charge you a supplement for doing this. Is this what you have done and have they tried to charge extra

Regards and apologies for going off track

If you book through Virgin holidays you don't pay the $5 charge. We haven't bothered going to Downtown the last couple of times as we have checked in online before leaving the villa and as our luggage fits in the boot out of sight we just go to the airport whenever, rather than 3 hours before.

Try buying a villa and you'll find that you get used to it. When we had proper holidays we used to take one suitcase in side another on the way out for the shopping to go in, now the suitcases are always full both ways with bits for the villa. Also we can leave some of our clothes/toiletries there so dont need to carry as many with us (so now all the guests know how boring the contents of our owners closets are. There's only 3 of us as well so that helps.
