    Downtown Disney Check In

Having never done this before or been to Downtown Disney, Can anyone explain to me what happens and where you go exactly?

    Many thanks

This is an excellent service and we use it every time Virgin have a check in desk set up next to Cirque Du Soleil and you just check in there as if you were at the airport. Your suitcases get loaded onto vans, you get your boarding cards and then go and spend your day wherever you like with only your hand luggage in tow

There is a small charge Angela ?$5 unless you are travelling PE or Upper, but it is well worth it[msnsmile]
Also worth rememberimg if you've never been to Downtown Disney, it's at Disney's Westside which is the opposite end to the Market place. Like Ruth says it is in the carpark behind Cirque du Soleil and very easy to find.

Great idea , we have been using this service for years. We had a late flight this last time ( 9.10 pm ) so we had another complete day really.

We used it in March, it opens at 8am until 1pm. We found it slightly difficulty to find because there is no signage. Just 2 rental vans and some people all dressed in red! Very simple and easy to use and much easier than waiting 3 hours at the airport. BUT I must add that when we got to the airport the queue for passport control was at least an hour long so don't wait until the last moment before you get to the airport.

I used this for the first time last year, picked up this advice from this forum. Absolutely brilliant!! staff were friendly suitcases taken from us by as soon as we arrived and placed near to vans, one person left with cases and the rest to the desk to do the check in. Short amount of time and then all done with the day in front of us to enjoy. Great idea this one.

It is a good idea, we used it for the first time in April this year! We had the cases gone by 08:35, back to the villa for breakfast and as we didn't have to be at the airport until around 16:30, it meant we had the whole day almost!!![8D] We didn't have to leave our villa unril 15:00 which was a bonus too
