    whats to do in October?

well we have changed our dates to 29th sept to 13th october, what will the weather be like?
things to do, we will go to seaworld as we have decided this is one of our favourite parks, so am hoping the weather will be a few degrees warmer then last December, also will do Busch gardens as its hubbys favourite park and as he pays for the holiday i guess we should let him do something he likes![msnwink]
i have so many ideas, but would like other ideas...............

can anyone recommend other things to do beside the parks, we will have our 22 month old grandson and our 10 year old daughter with us as well as the adults,

what sort of insects will be around then? i know it sounds silly but when its warmer they always look for me, so i want to be prepared for my new 'friends'

If you don't mind heights what about a spot of Hot Air Ballooning only a thought although you will have your 22 month old grandson with you. Just a thought anyway
    Can recommed the experience.

Liesa, the Halloween nights will have started.I would think the Magic Kingdom would be best for you.You may need to book in advance

    Otherwise,the Petting farm,Kissimmee Historic District,Homossassas.

You will find the weather perfect

Liesa, October is a great time to visit. So much going on because of halloween. Would recommend halloween at Magic Kingdom for the younger children, FrightNite at Univeral Island of Adventures is certainly not for the faint hearted, as I discovered last year!!![msnoo]never made it around the park [msnembarrased]

Why not try a visit to Kennedy Space centre, it's a real good day out for all ages. Weather should be good in October, not too hot and the insect will be starting to die off. Hope you have a great holiday.

Until recently Liesa, October was the main time we used to go to Florida!! The weather is just fantastic, might get the odd evening when a sweatshirt/cardi is a good idea, but not always needed. The Broadwalk have FREE activities on the Broadwalk itself leading up to Halloween, pumpkin carving and enertainers!! Varies each year, they do a costume contest with Mickey there too (unfortunately think that may have been 1 night only, prior to 31st) [msnsmile2]

Liesa, Kissimmee Historic district is off the 192 and has a nice old fashioned feel and a lake with a wonderful playground

I am going to look up the petting farm ( I think Poinciana ) I was born without a sense of direction!

I believe Orlando Babe started a thread about playgrounds but I can't find it for you.Somebody computer savvy will
