    Travellers cheques go plastic!

I noticed that American Express now do their Traveller's Cheques like a debit card.
You have the security of travellers cheques and can top it up as and when so it will last for many visits.

That will stop my purse being full of $1 bills.

I am going to get mine next week.

i read this in the paper yesterday sounds good! you can load the debit card up to £2.500 i think it said, and you have a pin number with it? sounds better then having a wallet or purse full of dollars!![msnwink]

Why not just use a debit card?

I just use a debit card or VISA. Why top up an extra card when you can just debit from your UK bank. They will use the same XChange rate.

It's not this cash2go card is it? With that card there is a charge of anywhere between £5 and £18-50 to charge it up and then if you draw cash at an ATM they charge another £1-75 every time. I will stick with my TC and CC.
