villas near convention center?

We are taking our 1st trip to Orlando this October. Planning on staying in the area 5 nights and then possibly moving on to the coast. One of us has a conference at the Convention center which from the map looks to be between Seaworld and Universal Studios. Any opinions as to which villa community might be closest/easiest drive? To me it looks like Indian Wells is the closest but I don't know anything about the traffic situation down there. Any advice is appreciated! TIA!!

Unfortunatly the convention centre is in Orange county and they do not licence for STR,
Try and use the map on the guide to see which communities are close for you.

As already mentioned no str villas in Orange County (for less than 30 day rental I believe). Most of the communites are in travelling distance though. Takes us 25 minutes to get there.

Indian Wells to convention centre should take no more than 20 mins tops, probably only 15. However any of the villas with easy access to I4 would deliver you in the same length of time and probably many of the ones East of Disney as well.

Don't think there is much in it.

18 miles from ours to the Convention centre.

It is about 20mins though from us to Sea World.

Never timed it to the minute!

Always too busy looking for something new!

I had some guests in & they two went to the conference centre. From my villa it is 20 mins drive was what they said to me and that was in fairly heavy traffic so I guess find a villa you like the look of as none of them will be very far away.

Most of the villas on the East and West side of Disney are in short distance drive to the convention center at most 20 minutes. As you can see on the map it will show all villas and location and which homes are the closest to the center. The drive also down IDrive is very nice with lots of scenic views.
