    Hiya

Hi everyone. found this site while researching buying a villa in Florida.

There is me Ali, my husband and two sons, one which tragically broke his neck whilst playing rugby. Although we have been to Florida a number of times this will be the first time (going in July [msnsmile2]) since his accident so our experience this time will all hinge on whether we go back again.

Reading all the threads about buying a villa it does seem a bit daunting and expenses so............... having slight second thought [msnsad] Feel there is a definate lack of adapted villas, pool hoists , wheel in showers etc to rent unless I am looking in completely wrong place.

wish I didn't feel so panicy now about buying and take the plunge. Also thought about timeshare but then we wouldn't be able to get pool access if we went down this route.

Ali welcome to you and your family.

I am also a newcomer to the forum. Everyone here has been incredibly helpful [clap], and I have learnt an awful lot. There are so many knowledgeable people on the forum and I am sure they will be able to help you with the information you need, or perhaps if they can't will know someone who can.

    Have a great holiday. [msnsmile]

    Hi Ali

Don't worry about the facilities for wheelchairs, just ask, as many of the villas are on one level and fairly open, you should have no problems. As for buying a villa, adapting it yourself pool wise is done quite easily, our neighbours have done this with no problems. Have a wonderful holiday

    Welcome Ali & Family!

Why not look at it from the perspective that through personal experience you have found a gap in the market - exploit it and offer what you are struggling to find for yourself!

You will get much of the info you need from this Forum.

    Good luck [msnsmile2]
