    Currency Rates

    Hello All,

Just looked at rates on the $$$ with Tiscali they have a rate of £1.85 to buy at the moment, No commission although you do pay for postage, didn't think that was to bad,[?] everywhere else seems to be alot lower on the high street the best rate seems to be £1.81 or £1.82 at the moment.

Not long know before we go. Can't believe its only 15 days away, we have been planning this trip for 2 years.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

    Take Care.

    Michele.

    Hi Karen

Hope you have a brilliant time and the shopping spree sounds good. We hope to be able to do that too. We are going with friends (Bluebirds). With children it may be difficult, but the men can take over for a while[msnoo]I hope.

    Have a great time[msnsmile2]

If you have a Marks & Spencer More Than card, you can order U.S. dollar traveller's cheques online. No commission or postal charges. The current rate is 1.84.

Travelex is $1.8514 at the moment. You can order online and pick them up from the airport when you arrive.

Have just got a rate of 1.883 for a large transfer for our furniture package.

So 1.85 is good if you can get it from a shop.

When wiring money direct to USA you get a slightly higher rate than the tourist rate.
