Publix is better quality and easier to get round as its smaller. The meat on the deli is more expensive than Walmart but much nicer, and they always offer you a sample - a huge slice. We like their fruit too, especially their cored and skinned pineapple - delicious. Its ideal if you just want food, and you don't want to spend ages shopping. Try their marble cake, too, if you want to pile on the pounds. [msnwink] They are very helpful, too.

But Walmart is a great experience, open 24 hours too! We can lose ourselves for hours in there. Everything you could possibly need, and great prices. Cosmetics are a great buy for us ladies. Some Walmarts are a little 'tatty' looking, but the new one at Cagan's Crossing (US 27 North) is lovely, and worth a look at if you are in the area.

Oh dear, makes me wish we were there now, we love being able to shop late at night, and walking out of the shop and feeling the warm air outside still give us a kick.

We always shop for food at Publix and save Walmart for those really long shopping trips

Definately Publix. Just set the trolley on automatic and you'll be zipping up and down those ailes and done in a jiffy.

Here's my other half and the kids after our first shop!

Publix for speed, and its a nice store anyway. Save WalMart for when you are more refreshed. Personally I always order online and have it delivered to the door.I can't face a long day and the thought of shopping at the end of it. Chloe
