    Having said that though I wasn't sure I'd remembered the angle correct and tried to find where I'd seen it and found this on an advert for one of the strollers you were looking at

Baby is cradled in the hammock and doesn't bounce around or slip to the side, which can happen on rough terrain in the recline. The Zip Hammock reclines to 30 degrees and is a similar angle to a infant carseat. A newborn should not spend long period of time reguarly in the Zip Hammock.
