Just picked up a brochure for this... you can pilot the helicopter yourself (with an instructor!).

A 15 min flight is $80 - pilot it yourself
30 min flight is $150 - forward flight as well as hover it
60 min flight is $280 - low level, land off field, land and takeoff yourself.

You can take a small observer for $20 but your combined weight must be under 350lbs.

I had every intention of doing it when i was in Florida last month but having done the aerobatics in the Harvard the time before i couldn't make up my mind.

I will definatly do one or the other or possibly both when i go out in July.

And if your into flying i took a trip down to Kermit Weeks Fantasy of flight museum while i was there and that boy has some planes. I found it very interesting and would recommend it.

Hubby went to book a chopper flight there last October but was told it was a no go. This was due to the Huey being damaged during one of the hurricanes. He's hoping it will have been repaired ready for him when we go back agin in September.
