Lawyer who can deal with US purchase

Can anybody recommend a solicitor in the UK who can advise on a villa purchase? (I need advice on one of the clauses in my contract.)

We didn't have a UK solicitor involved in our purchase. If you want to put the clause on here that concerns you then maybe someone else also had that clause and can explain it for you. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

You really need a realestae attorney. Out of interest waht clauses are you questioning. Most sales are done with FAR BAR contract which is pretty staright forward.

Hi

We closed by mail! All our legal work was done in the US and papers fed ex'd to us. We did go to our lawyer here with the paperwork but only for them to witness our signatures!
