New Service to Florida

Starting in May 2006 there are to be flights to Florida(presumably Sanford) from the new Robin Hood Airport Doncaster/Sheffield that opened today.

Thompson Holidays are operating the service.

That is great for anyone living up near there, I wonder will they ever operate out of Bristol, that would be so convenient for us here in the West Country

It will be really interesting to see what happens with the long haul flights, lets see if Leeds / Bradford and Humberside follow suit

Leeds/Bradford or Doncaster would be fab for us, as we are about the same distance from both!

Can't they build up speed one way turn at the end and increase speed for take off,thus doubling the length of the runway.[msnwink]
