Thread: Graham Crackers?

    Graham Crackers?

My mother in law has been given an American diet sheet (she is on a low fat diet) and it suggests Graham crackers as a snack. What are they?? I'll be over in Florida next week so can pick some up for her or is there a UK equivalent.

    Graham Crackers

Graham crackers were named for the 19th century champion of wholemeal wheat (graham) flour and vegetarianism in general, Sylvester Graham. Graham crackers are whole wheat crackers sweetened with honey or molasses and were invented by Graham in 1829.
Apparently they make a low fat version

I don't think I will ever look at Graham crackers quite the same way again!

They are very yummy and come in all flavors. I am a chocolate lover- and chocolate graham crackers are a good thing to munch to settle a chocolate craving!
