    ENGLAND v USA - Saturday 28th MAY 2005

    Hi everyone.

Hubby just told me that on the 28th May England play USA (football/Soccer)in Chicago - 7.30pm (GMT). Reference in Sky Magazine.

Which bars would be best to go and see a game like this, we will be in Florida at the time.

    Thanks all.[beer][beer]

From one Michele to another!! (with one "L")

I am out there at the same time so will be interested in going (although technically I will be on my honeymoon and a bride of 2 days and hubby to be is NOT interested in football, so will have to wait and see)

Congratulations hope you have a lovely time. Thought we could see the game in a nice bar somewhere and take the atmosphere in with some other football crazies, while we were on hols.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

There are many places that you can view soccer in Florida, there are many threads on the 'search' link above, just dont forget the hour time difference or he will miss the match.

Afraid Im not a football fan but............
There is a place on the US192 towards the 27 called JTs Primetime Diner - its very much a 'locals place' and the walls are hung with football shirts that visitors have donated. I bet that would be a good place to be, oh & by the way, the food is GREAT!
Their telephone number is (407) 239 6555 [courtesy of my book of matches!] - you could do worse than give them a ring when you are out there & see if they will be showing the match.
p.s Try the chicken salad, or the steak, or the sea food, or have a couple of beers or....................[msnwink]

JTS will only show it if it's on regular tv, if it;s on a pay channel then no.

yeh cricketeers on i drive. saw england game there last year or was it the year before? however they charged $10 for entry, bit cheeky like! there was also another bar up near wet n wild on idrive but was really heaving, so at half time we ran down i drive to the mercado- was quite happy to pay $10 to get in just to buy a beer!!

also there was a new brit pub opened by the mini golf near wet n wild(the one where you can feed the baby crocs with bits of sausage)last summer i dont know if they have soccer facility yet - anyone?

i also recollect somebody mentioning a sports bar off 192

I'll be at home to watch it - the only trouble is I am off to Florida the next day so will be far too excited to sit still long enough [laugh]
