All we take are shorts,t-shirts,trainers and a fleece (aircon can be chilly at times!)swimming kit and slip on shoes for the water parks. All the toiletries get binned to make room for the new stuff i've bought along with the old trainers......[8D]

Both me and hubby always wear jeans..no matter how hot...its a hard habit to break after being bikers so long....I find very light weight tops a must....
The first time we went we took clothes for every occasion "just in case". Fast learnt that most of it was not necessary as you could wear your shorts and T-shirts most places. One thing I am always glad of is a jacket for in the restaurants at night as they can be cool with the air-con on.[msnsmile2]
If you do find you've forgotten anything then you have an excellant excuse to go shopping.[msnwink]![]()

I was like that too Sarah! I packed dresses, high heels, I presumed that everyone would be all dressed up for the night, but everyone is very casual over there, I would never ever walk into a restaurant here with shorts and trainers!![sporty]

I love this shopping theme. I am taking out toiletries to last for the fortnight and binning them before we come back to make room if need be. It's not me worried about what to wear for dinner and going out but Pete!!!!! Theres no telling him sometimes.[8D]We always packed loads for Med hols too. Did not think aboout the air con mind you.
Florida is casual casual casual. Pack light and have a great time!

Use bubble wrap to pack out your suitcases before you go and dont stop shopping until you've completely filled your cases and bought another case (they are cheap out there too!
The first time we went,Dennis even took a suit! As others have said, you usually live in a couple of casual outfits
When we went on MED holidays we were always bordering on overweight - but have learnt that this is not necessary in Florida - nearly all villas have washing facilities as do most hotels. Now we go lightly and only notice how much we have purchased when we are trying to fill our car with the suitcases upon our return!
We have never been stopped in any restaurant for not having the right dress code. Evening shorts - T shirts are what hubby lives in and trainers - usually purchased from Tommy & Reebok when we arrive, at a fraction of the normal cost.

Definatley pack light I manage to get all our stuff in two medium size suitcases also don`t take any toiletries with us now as we buy out there,
usual scenario. Arrive at House.
Keith hauls in cases
Tom,Will & Jack hit the pool
Kym puts on kettle, makes coffee starts unpacking
Keith goes to Publix buys said toiletries and whatever else catches his eye (cakes and sweets normally)
