1984 Prices

Just been clearing out loads of USA stuff from the loft and came across my ticket and guide to Disney World in March 1984:
1 Day Ticket $17-00
3 Day World Passport $40-00
4 Day World Passport $50-00

Only Magic Kingdom and Epcot back then.

Just looking at mine from 2000. 4 day park hopper. Adult $176, child $142. Equivalent price today $234 and $194, which is a 33% and 36% increase over 5 years(assuming my mental arithmetic is working properly). I'm not sure if that's reasonable or not, strikes me as quite a large increase.

We went to CYPRESS GARDENS 11 years ago and the lady at the ticket desk said are you over 48 which we were and gave us half price tickets did not keep them but never been asked again , Those were the old days .What a memory .
