The electrical power supply is different to the UK and you will need adaptors for your appliances. Hairdryers are usually provided in the villas - plus UK hairdryers seem to lose their power. Curling tongs, heated rollers etc are cheap to buy over there if you don't want to carry them back and forth - Walgreens and Walmarts have good ranges.
