We had our seats changed both ways on our last Virgin flight. No real explanation apart from "sometimes we just have to!" I used to love flying Virgin because of the entertainment for the kids, and the attentiveness of the staff. It's now hard to even get their attention when they are coming round with drinks because they always seem so busy gossiping to each other. One of them was whining to me about how its hardly worth their while going down the aisle with the duty free trolley cos they hardly make any commission from it - whilst I was buying something!
I'll see how my next flight goes, but it may be time to consider the less expensive options.
