Lucy-just picking up a point from your last post-did I see a Corncorde next to one of the runways at Manchester airport(disused of course!) or was I just imagining it?

You did! She is the star of the show at the Aviation Viewing Park! I took my children on the tour on Easter Sunday - it was a real trip down memory lane for me as its the aircraft that I did my first ever Concorde trip on back in '97 to Miami, and she is also the aircraft that I did an around the world trip on in '99 - for those who are interested it is G-BOAC and she was the flagship!
She is also the only Concorde that is completely intact - still has engines and fully functional so you never know one day they may bring her out of mothballs, it would not be the first time[msnwink]
I will try to post a photo!

My uncle worked on Concorde and told us the day it would first leave the hanger....family members of the people working there lined the road to be the first to see it .....[msnsmile2]
I now talk to someone in an expats forum who was there too.....its a small world......
I haven't looked but I know my one son will have a horror film, the other probably one of the 24 series DVD's (they both have a PS2 which plays DVD's) and the one in the lounge will have dust in it as I never seem to have time to watch the TV let alone a DVD these days.[msnsmile2]
