The first time we went it was October and it was great. Weather lovely and parks not too busy. We tried Easter last year but thought it was too busy. Infact we liked October so much we are going back this year on the 13th[clap]

The parks star Halloween nights from late September on. If you could go at the start of October, that would be perfect.

You need to go on the individual websites to establish which nights for each park

Do remember that if you are going to Mickeys Not So Very Scary Halloeen Party, you need to pay an additional ticket price. It is not included in your park hopper. Many of the children and some of the adults dress in halloween costume.
The weather at that time of the year is usually perfect.
The parks are busy but not frantic.

AM I right in thinking the Haloween events are special; you would need to get tickets? I seem to remember they sold out quite quickly so if your thinking of going then I would book your tickets ASAP..

Yes the tickets are seperate from the usual day tickets. You can take a chance and buy them on the day or it's probably best to get them in advance to save any disapointments.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your holiday in October, might also be there, not sure yet.

    All the best

We used to visit the last week of Sept first of October and usually walked straight on the major rides, all the parks were very quiet.

Trying something different this year and going in April.

The weather should be fine around that time most likely to be around the 80 - 90's.

We are thinking of going back in the summer so preparing ourselves for some very long queues
