Also, when I was last in Florida (Feb this year) Walmart introduced a new range of basics..shorts, t-shirts etc...called JMS (stands for Just My Size) and they went up to a US 22/24 or larger I think.

Next catalogue go up to a 26 and you can also order online with them. I agree with some of the posts here about buying clothes in Florida. Ime an 18 and i found their clothes frumpy. I found shorts and vest tops in Walmart and Old Navy stocked large jeans. Actually Old Navy was proberly the best place for clothes. Next time we go i will buy clothes for myself here and just buy the kids over there.

You'll end up shopping anyway so why not wait till you get there, you'll probably get a better choice and value for money

Just remembered H & M also do large sizes here. They have a whole section called B is B (Big is Beautiful).

Burlington Coat Factory in Orlando also do large sizes. Even though I thought I'd find more shops doing large sizes there I get good value for money in florida so I buy all my clothes from there.

    Marv: where is Old Navy?

Dallas always goes to Bonworth and finds plenty of attractive tops and shorts. There is a branch along the 192 and at Beltz which is a great place for all sorts of shopping.

Another tip for getting shorts in england in to go to the Sports Shops and buy the Mens ones, simply cut the lining out and then they are fine. We have a great cheap sports shop in Hemel and seeing as I need shorts most days for work (Swimming Teacher) it saves me quite a bit of money.

Adeline, there are lots of branches of Old Navy and I don't know the location of them all, but there is one in he Florida Mall and one at Lake Buena Vista outlets. Just dragging on the velour sweatpants that I bought on my Christmas visit.....brilliant![msnsmile2]<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by ahagan

I was in Tesco earlier this morning and noticed that they have a section for larger sizes (16 - 26 I think it was)in their clothes department. That might be worth looking at if you have a Tesco in your area.
