    Orlando in march next year

    Hello everyone...

I am new to this wonderful forum and would be greatful for some help..

We are thinking of booking our 'holiday of a lifetime' in Orlando
( sooo excited..!!!!) next year last week in march to the first week in april.
That is 2 weeks before easter...would that already fall into the very busy period?
We had originaly planned to go early march, will 2 weeks later make a
difference in the weather as I am so tiered of the cold and wet?

Thanks very much for any info
    Ramona

    Hello Ramona,

Welcome to the Forum. We went over to Orlando in Feb the weather was wonderful. I know our guest's that stayed in our villa in March had a bit of a mixed bag, sunny, bit of rain, cloudy etc... But they had a fantastic time.
I think the later you go the more settled it will be, but anytime in Florida is great [msnwink][msnwink][msnwink][msnwink]

Easter is the really busy time, but going just before you should be fine.
I'm sure other owners and visitors will give you more information.

Have a great time planning [msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

    Hi Ramona
Welcome to the forum! You will certainly find someone who can answer any question you may have about Florida on here!
The weather at this time of year is lovely over there - I was over last year at that time & we were getting temps of about 75 degrees - all though of course no one can guarantee weather anywhere! I didnt go to the parks at that time (too busy working on the villas!!) but you may be lucky and beat the queues if you go earlier rather than later - whatever now is the time to book - particularly if you are looking to book a villa because this time gets booked up well in advance!
Have great fun planning your holiday!!!!!!!!!![msnsmile2]

    Ramona,
Your second week will certainly be busier. A lot of UK school's Easter break starts on the 1st of April.
Weather in late March/Early April will be warmer than early March. We've just come back from 2 weeks for about the same period you are looking at, and we had 80 degree's most days, and only on a couple of evenings did we require jumpers. It only rained twice during our stay.
I would certainly recomend pool heating if you like a daily dip.

The weather at least is better than here in the UK, we were there February last year and it was beautiful. The parks are not quite so busy and I'm sure whenever you go it will be just great.

    Hi Ramona

And a big welcome to the forum. The 2 weeks you have chosen shouldn't be as busy as Easter and the weather shouldn,t be all that different. Never been in Easter weeks but I would expect these 2 weeks to be very busy.

    Hi and Welcome.
Would have to agree with the above. I think you should be OK in that the parks won't yet be too busy, but we have expereinced a mixed bag weather wise. But any time is better than here [msnsmile2]

    Welcome to the forum.

Going before Easter will be quieter than during Easter as you avoid the school holidays and therefore the queues at the parks will be shorter!!! Weather wise any time of year is good. This year they have had unusually cold and wet spells for March, normally March/April is a great time to visit, quite warm, but not sticky and humid like in July and August.
You will have a great time I am sure!!!

    Hi Ramona

Just to second what Wilfy has said. Next year the schools in Hertfordshire are having the 2 weeks prior to Easter off as the holidya period, they return to school on Tuesday after the Bank holiday. This could affect some of the crowds but the Americans will probably only be there the main Easter time, I would recommend doing the parks at the beginning of the holiday and the other stuff (like shopping) when it gets nearer to Easter.

    Hello Ramona
we too are going the 2 weeks prior to Easter as thats when our schools are on holiday so I think it will be busy. We went a couple of years ago at a similar time and the first week good crowd wise was but as for the second! It was managable but very busy. It needed good planning but didn't spoil it. Hey we are doing it a second time it can't be that bad! Have fun you will never want to go any where else.
