    Hi Ramona
We went to Florida on 21st March this year, we had some rain and some sun, but it was never cold!! T shirts and shorts all the way.
We were there over Easter and all things considered it was not too busy so I am sure the weeks before Easter will be great.
Have fun planning your trip and have a really great time.

Hi Ramona, welcome to the forum. We were over in Florida for the first week of March this year and the weather was pretty nice. You should be fine going at the time of year you have selected. Have fun with all the planning, its part of the fun.[msnsmile2]

    Hello Ramona

Welcome!! Hope you enjoy all you can learn from this fab forum, I have learnt so much and hope you get as much benefit as I am getting.

I had guests out in our villa this year in March and they said the weather on the whole was good but still made the most of being in Florida what ever the weather when it did rain. Like people have said Florida is far nicer than being at home doing the same routine day in day out, enjoy yourselves!!

    All the best
    Sue

    Hi Ramona
Welcome. Florida is great at anytime of the year. Weatherwise our favourite months are April and November. Both warm and sunny not too humid and less rain than the summer months. Not too many crowds at the parks as long as you avoid Easter and Thanksgiving.

We have never been in March, we have however been the 2 weeks after Easter in April the weather then was lovely the 1st time which was our first trip to Florida we never saw any rain. Due to work commitments we have been the last few times in July very hot, very humid, very wet. Doesn't stop me going though

    Hello Ramona,

Welcome to the forum. The weather should be ok then, My son has just come back from Orlando at that time and he said it was lovely weather lots of Sun. The only thing was a couple of days of Rain and there was a noticable chill in the air when you get out of the pool and sometimes at night. He still had a nice tan though.

How about the first 2 weeks in May if you have the flexibility.
One way to pick out the less busy times would be to use the flight link at the top of the forum and you can bet your bottom dollar, that the less expensive times will be less busy

You will have a fab time whenever you go,but you are right to do some research first

    Hello All

thank you for all the valuable info.
There where some good points and it has made me think whether it would be wiser to wait and rather go end of April/beginning of May ie. less crowded, cheaper flights, warmer weather...

We might not be able to go back for some time ( kids school,
GCSE's, college, money.....) so I would really like to go at the BEST time possible...

    so many decisions [msntongue]

    Hi

We've just got back after two weeks in Orlando. 25th March till 9th April. The temps were low 80's with sunshine every day. Fantastic!
