up to now i've only noticed it in active topics, i doesnt appear to be anywhere else [?]

keeping the mouse over a subject for more than a few seconds,which i must have not been doing if you say its been there for two years [msnscared] [msnsmile2], gives you a preview of what the subject is all about

being an avid reader, this i find of help

could i just ask though why do you sometimes get a detailed preview and sometimes only a small one ?
