wildlife books

Does anyone have a good wildlife book they can recommend for identification of birds, insects, reptiles and mammals you might come across in Florida? I suspect this might need more than one book.
Also, any recommendations for a good bookshop.

Barnes and Noble are a really good book store just opposite the Florida Mall.

We bought some nature books from there, they have a huge selection

Just about to say the same Margaret! That's where we got all of our wildlife books from too as we found they had the largest selection (AND they do great coffee and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake!).

You could also try some of the online book stores, Amazon etc. We have always found the price of books expensive in the US compared to over here [msnsmile]

The National Audubon Society Field Guide to Florida is excellent. I bought it in a Barnes and Noble store.

Thanks for all your advice. Barnes and Noble seems to be the popular choice so I'll visit when I'm over in May.
