    Hotel/motel near crescent lakes

Hi everyone we are going to florida in july 2006 but have decided to arrive a day before we can get into the villa, that way as we have a late flight home we can spend most of the day at the villa and swimming and relaxing before our long flight home. Can anyone recommend a motel/hotel for 1 night stay,i read reviews on one and it said there was dodgy dealings in the car park at night.Dont really fancy that.I hope all you experts out there can help .Thanks[rasta]

there are plenty of excellent motels in town. why not stay your first night on international drive and enjoy the sights and sounds then travel to your villa . its only 30 mins away

Why not try Wonderland Inn. Its very close to Crescent Lakes and is a cross betweeen a motel and a bed and breakfast.
The people who run it are really nice and breakfast is so very friendly. Have a look at their website its so different from staying in the regular hotels. The website address is as you would expect. If you don't find it, I can DM.

Hello Lorraine - good to see you on the forums again [msnsmile]

I was just going to suggest this too - I've heard nothing but great things about it.

We've had guests in our home who've stayed at the Wonderland Inn for a couple of nights in the same situation as you and they said it was great.

I don't quite follow here Kitty how arriving a day before you can get into the villa means you can stay later at the villa, they don't generally work on the same basisi as hire cars in that if you pick it up at 6pm you would return it at 6pm, most owners have a check out time so it can be prepared for the next guests checkin (usually around 4) but it takes several hours to complete the clean. I'm sure I'm just misunderstanding what you've written but was just curious.

    Steph

Lorraine is a guest of mine and is staying in my 3 bed villa.

They have paid for a Saturday to Saturday booking and so if they arrive in Orlando on a Friday I'm guessing their flight is late on the Friday night at the end of the 2 weeks, so as they have paid for Friday night in the villa they can leave anytime they like as the villa is reserved in their name until 11am Saturday morning.
