Getting to the american embasssy london

Which is the best way to get to the embassy in london. If I go by coach it will take me to victoria or I think the train goes to paddington .

Anyone know the best way there?

Grosvenor Square is just off Oxford Street and not that far from Marble Arch so if you can get to Marble Arch by tube or bus, it's not that far to walk from there. Alternatively, a taxi from Victoria shouldn't be that expensive!

So is Victoria bus station that far from the embassy. How long would a taxi ride take from Victoria to the embassy roughly?

Sorry, haven't a clue where anything is in london.

We went by train into Paddington. Taxi took under 10 minutes to get to Grosvenor Square and cost about £7.

Whatever you do go prepared for a long wait. Comfortable shoes as you will be standing a long time, something to eat and drink and something to read. Also remember that ONLY people applying for visas are allowed in the Embassy so don't take friends and half the family with you
