Thread: Where is best place to eat for wedding party?

Where is best place to eat for wedding party?

I'm getting married at Cypress Grove Florida (May 06) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where the wedding party could go to eat and drink afterwards?

We don't want anything too expemsive, though I have been told the 'California Grill' at Disney's Contemporary Resort is good as you can watch the fireworks from California Grill's balcony?

Any ideas? there will only be around 15 people max.

    Hi Tracy,

My son and his fiancee are planning to get married in Florida in May '06 and have been looking at Cypress Grove along with lots of other venues. We have the same problem of where to eat afterwards. We are still not sure of the numbers but if they keep adding them on like they are doing at the moment we will all be at the Golden Corrall! Originally there were only going to be 6 of us including the happy couple but now we are up to 11 and I've a feeling they've not finished yet. The main problem is my son wouldn't mind the Golden Corrall but his other half wants something a little more romantic
We did look at the Gaylord Palms when we were over in Florida in February and the Wedding Gazebo in the atrium is lovely but I don't know if they cater for small wedding parties. If we can't decide it will just have to be a pool party at the villa!!

    Hi Sketch,

Do you have any ideas of the kind of place you would prefer? A buffet or full menu type meal? More formal or more casual? Just a restaurant or a restauraut/bar type place or a restaurant close to bars?

There are so many nice places that with a few pointers we should be able to come up with more than a handful of good suggestions.

    Congratulations too!

The last time we ate at the Gaylord Palms in the Buffet part there was an Anniversary Party and a small Wedding Party in.

It really made for an enjoyable atmosphere.

Although it is a Buffet Restaraunt it is not Golden Corall or Sizzler
