We went to Pirates in December and enjopyed this. As usual don't rely on the food to fill you up, but it wasn't too bad. There is also a disco afterwards. This would probably depend on the gender of your children, if you have a majority of girls it may not be so good.
You should have seen my face when my 7 year old son started singing along to 'what shall we do with the drunken sailor'. Apparently he had learnt the song at school.
We also went to the Pirates Dinner show in December and thought it was good, but i have to agree with you about the food Christhear. Not very filling, but adequate. If you turn up to the show early enough, the kids under eight might be chosen to participate in the show. We didn't get there early enough and my grandson, aged 5, was itching to get on stage.
We went to Pirates a couple of weeks ago. We thought it was one of the best we've seen. We booked in person at the office where all the staff were so much fun and seemed to be enjoying their work! One of the guys (who's not a peformer in the show) dresses as a pirate every day just cos he likes to!

We took our 10 year old nephews, together with their 70 year old grandma to Medieval Times and they all had a fantastic time. As with some of the other shows the food is just OK but the boys loved the sword fighting and the jousting
