Daisy my friend's niece had her wedding out in Florida and the tension organising it was emence but it was all worth it, she had a wonderful time and now looks back and says "Why was I so tense" it was my dream come true.
Come on, chin up, take one day at a time and it will all go well. Enjoy!!
All the best
Hi Daisy,
Like Jeff says - most villa owners have just one villa and remember the details quite well! I always find it interesting when a guest contacts me with questions and precedes their message with who they are and what dates they are renting from me etc.! I know exactly who they are and know their exact dates!! I not only remember every single guest who has ever rented from me in the past 3 years, but I remember when it was and any personal details shared through our communication. One of my favorite things about being a villa owner is the many people I've met.
Don't worry Daisy. I think if the owner had called you instead of the other way around, you would have received an entirely different impression. You caught them off guard and I'm sure they were just trying to get their head into the conversation. I'm not sure what I sound like to anybody who calls me half the time as my household is usually so chaotic with my family pulling me in a million different directions!
Hi Daisy
I'm sure as everybody else says things will be fine. I know I've spoken to guests who must think I'm totally mad - I was on the phone to one guest last November confirming a booking when my daughter fell down the stairs. I quite calmly apologised for the noise and said it was just my daughter trying to decide if she'd hurt herself falling down the stairs. Four hours later my daughter's leg was in plaster, awaiting an operation having broken her ankle in a very awkward way. I hate to think what that guest must think of me, but they enjoyed their holiday!!

That sounds like my house! [msnsmile2] I've been know to roam from room to room while talking to a guest to try and stay one step ahead of my 3 year old who can't understand why she should have to wait 5 nimutes to tell me the entire conversations she just had with her baby doll![msnoo]

Hate to think what one potential guest thought I was like - he got his time zone muddled and rang me at 3........in the morning!! Somehow I managed to find a pen & papet to take his details but Im sure I didnt sound too with it!!![msnscared]
Likewise - I try having conversations with guests or potential bookings and my 1 year thinks every phone call is his daddy when he's calling from away working. Th people on the other end of the phone must think I am a few sandwiches short of a picnic, either that or wondering what I am doing to my son to hear him screaching da da, da da 100 times over!!!
