Cosco have 2 on offer in the shop on orange blossom trail at the moment. A 7" version for $149, and a 10" with storage pack etc etc for $349.

The wal-mart on the 192 by medieval times has sold out of dvd players, or we couldn't find any yesterday.

We bought an excellent one from qvc (USA) for $149 including a seperate very long life battery that clips underneath, 9' screen with remote control and came wityh the mulitregion code. Has wll the outputs to hook up to a TV along with 5.1 surround sound. Great unit.

Hi I have been told that I will not be able to charge a Venturer PVS 1071 portable DVD in Orlando, can someone please tell me! I thought I would just be able to plug it in as I do with the game boy. I was thinking of buying one at Wollies as they are 1/2 price (129.99) and I was thinking it would be good for plane and car!!!! Anyone got any info on this make good or bad???

I would stay clear of the Venturer range (cheap and nasty). Some of the top brands are bringing prices down to just a little more than this.

I would try and get it region free in UK. that way will play in US. I don't have any problems charging in US.

All plane companies allow you to use them, just not at take-off and landing

    Hope this helps

    Try here http://www.dvdexploder.com/multihacks.htm

There are other sites as well - just Google "DVD multiregion" or "DVD Hacks"
