    Visiting florida in june

We are really looking forward to going to florida in June and know it will be hot and busier than when we went before in February. Some people I have spoken to have said that June is one of the worst times to go and that you will be lucky to get on 2 rides in a day due to it being so busy.

Does anyone have any tips or experiences of visiting florida in June?

    Thanks for any tips.

One idea is to take an afternoon break back at the villa. Head into the theme parks reasonably early, then head home again at lunchtime when it starts to get busy. Grab a bite to eat and have a few hours by the pool, then head back to the park at about 4pm.

Alternatively, plan to watch the shows in the park between lunchtime and early evening. This also gets you under some shade during the hottest part of the day.

I agree that it will be really busy in June compared to February, but it won't be nearly as bad as July and August!! With some planning and smart use of the fast pass, you will get to do plenty. We were down over New Years and this was the first time we were in the parks at peak time (we always went in February too!). It was certainly crazy, but we got to do a lot more than I expected and the crowds you will see, will not be like the ones I saw! Have a great time!

I think the key is to plan your day at the parks. Use your fast past as previoulsy said and ensure you have the tickets that allow you to park hop in and out. It will be busier than February but will not be really bad like the summer holidays. Check out the times of the shows and don't miss the parades and fireworks!! You will have a fantastic time!

see you there. we go end of may for 3 weeks. we are expecting it to be a little busy but nothing like our holiday in august there last year . it spoilt it initially, but then you got used to planning the day with military precision , and a few back up plans[msnwink]

I was chatting to a friend who has been countless times, in all months and she was saying her favourite time is June

I would not be worried about travelling to Florida in June. Our last three family visits were all in June and can honestly say that it did not seem too busy to us.

We used Fast Pass in Disney and that was a real boom for the popular rides and I can honestly say that no wait was ever more than 30 minutes some rides we just walked on to! We were lucky to get handed some fast past type tickets by a family who had just finished their vacation and no longer needed them just as we walked in to Universal which meant we were lucky here to!

I think as the previous responses it still does mean to organise your day and plan what you want to do - we tended to have a snack breakfast and then eat an early lunch in the park inside to keep out of the sun for a bit, oh and we also bought those spray guns, which we found great!

June is a lovely time to go and to be honest with you, its hot whenever you go to Florida, obviously the peak times reach high temps but June is lovely and its just before the humidity hits.

I have yet to go to a park when its not busy, weekends are busier than through the week for obvious reasons. You will certainly do more than 2 rides.

We have been in early June a couple of times, to be honest I do not remeber the parks being THAT busy[msnsmile2]It was definately hot and humid, but not unbearable at all! We have been at quieter times, but there is always an argument for the people give the place atmosphere!!

We have been in June before and are also going for 3 weeks in June this year. June is a great time to go. Schools do not tend to be off and you don't get those massive school groups from South America either at that time.

Last year we went in to MK for opening and had done Buzz lightyear, astro-orbitors, tomorrwoland speeway, tea cups (twice), peter pan, snow white, its a small world, and the carousel (3times) in the space of under 2 hours.

Its really not that busy at all. Last year out of 2 weeks in June we only had 4 or 5 days where it really rained.

You will have great time in June - might see you there!
