    Pressie time

Do many of you buy pressies for friends/family back home. We used to but have now limited for whom we buy as it is becoming so time consuming trying to find suitable things for different people. Also, going out more often lessens the need to 'bring something back' each time. We used to get requests for trainers, DVD's, various types of clothing, but often found traipsing round the shops a nightmare when we could'nt find the right size or colour etc.

No it is rare we take anything back, a bit different for us as we live away from the family. My Mum still brings me something back when she goes on holiday and I am 37! I pick up things I know friends and famiy will like and save it for Birthdays and Christmas time.

We always go over end of November/early December and I do all of my Christmas shopping in Central Florida. My kids know that they can only request something that I can buy over there. [msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Don't usually bring anything back when we go at other times of the year. I do the same as CDV and stockpile stuff that I find ready, for Christmas and birthdays.

I just bring home some bits and bobs for the kids, they are now just token gifts ie CD, t/shirt,etc. Nothing fancy or big, I just take carry on luggage so it has to fit in that bag or not at all.

and gosh didnt we have fun!!! we had to stop in the end cos we didnt think we could get all of it in the cases and in the van to get to the airport!
(and the cases were still just underweight!)

I usually only small gifts for the young children of friends of ours. This time though we ended up with a list of things to bring back with us, managed to get all of the items on it but it was rather time consuming but hey a great reason to have to so lots of shopping.[msnsmile2]

We bring back little pressies for children of friends of ours and for my little nephews. When we go for our pre Christmas trip we buy lots of Christmas pressies and Christmas decorations. We had 4 boxes full of toys and decor last December.
