    Hi
The Government has proposed to the European Commission that the travellers’ allowance, which is the total value of goods that travellers may bring into the UK from outside the EU without being required to pay tax or duty on arrival, should be raised from £145 to £1,000. Until such agreement is secured, however, the allowance remains unchanged at the moment. However it looks good for the future
