    St Pete Beach

We are thinking of going over to St. Pete's Beach and staying just one night can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel on the beach, I have looked on the Internet and have found a family run place call Plaza Beach Resort has anyone tried it?

I recall some friends telling me about a Sarita (or Sirata?) Resort in St Pete beach. They liked it very much and thought that it was good value for money.

Have a look and see if there are any Fairfield Inn's they are I think part of the Marriot group, we always try and use them when travelling round the States, good value and you get breakfast included.

    Hi Lyn,
Tradewinds is quite a large hotel on the beach. They have also taken The Sandpiper and Sirata hotels.
There is a nice friendly hotel, The Dolphin Beach, which we have used.

We stayed in the Tradewinds last May. It is a very nice hotel and very child friendly.

Why not see if any of the Gulf coast owners have any spare nights from the links above, it would certainly beat a hotel.

I only want one night don't think I could get a villa for that. I would also like to be on the beach.

Lyn, I spoke to the aforementioned friends last night and they confirmed that Sirata Beach Resort was excellent in terms of comfort and good value. You might want to add it to your shortlist of considerations.
