Car Hire from this Site

We have booked our flights through Charter Travel this year. When I made the booking they tried to sell us car hire but I said I knew of a better place [msnwink]. "No problem" they answered, as it wasn't a requirement for the type of tickets we had purchased. However, when the booking confirmation arrived it showed 7 days car hire. As we are going for three weeks I said this was no good to us and in any case we had said we did not want car hire. They then changed their mind and said it was a requirement of our booking and couldn't be refunded/deducted but we didn't have to take the car. They sent a follow-up letter confirming this. To be honest, I wasn't too bothered as I knew, and was happy with, the price we were paying for the VA tickets.

What does annoy me is, when I originally enquired how they could book VA seats in advance of the release date, they made out that they have a special allocation. There was no mention that it was a VH fly-drive holiday we had purchased.

Anyway, 'proper' car is booked through this site [msnsmile].

I had no problem with Charter Travel, when i booked Virign flights a few weeks ago. At the end of the booking they just said, whatabout car hire have you got that sorted, and i said yes thanks, cos we had booked with the car hire link on here.(even though they took the full amount out of my bank account, which then caused me to go overdrawn - which should have been taken out in November!). But i must say that problem was soon rectified, many thanks to John and Sarah.

We did sort out that oversight by our suppliers immediately and the suppliers even refunded your overdraft charges. Thankfully this does not happen very often - they are usually super-efficient [msnsmile]

Just booked again for the third time it's the best care hire by far
I have been traveling to America twice a year for 16 years
I always found the hidden extras to be so annoying with car hire companies
with www.floridahire.com you pay once and thats all you pay
Just wish I had found them earlier

Yes thats right, it was sorted out promptly and yes they did refund even my overdraft charge. Guess I am just unlucky out of thousands of people it could have happened to!

I booked Car Hire last Minute in November of last year and had no problems with the Car Hire Company off this site, they even managed to send me the Car Docket within the same afternoon. Thank you !!

We always book our Car Hire through this site.

We have used them on both our recent trips and the price and service were great

Even more important to me as an owner was that they sorted out some of my guests within an hour on a sunday evening (who else would have?)

The guests had not booked a car ahead of time (yes,I did advise them to)Of course at the airport it is an arm and a leg to get car hire.As they were a large party it was no simple request,but the guys sorted them out withn the hour
