Hurricane Damage - 6 Months on

There was an interesting report on the news last week about Pool Screen Shortages across Central Florida due to Hurricane damage.

It seems that there is now such a shortage of new/replacement pool screens that some people will be unlikely to have a new screen until next year!

I hadn't noticed a lot of damage until i drove along the Osceola Parkway to join the 535 to go to Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. Indian Wells looked to have taken a real battering and had many homes still with damaged roof's and damaged pool screens.

Don't mention it..... We are still waiting for our new enclosure for the reasons that you mention. Although I think we are almost there. The chap who is doing it has had to apply for a permit to do it. Each property has to be granted a permit before reconstruction takes place. We had to dig around and find the original sketch, showing boundaries etc. The whole issue really has been a BIG pain. Chloe
