    Welcome to the forum

Phew! I hope you've got great stamina, I'm shattered just reading what you have planned. I'd seriously think about some r&r time somewhere in there.

The first 10 days sound great then it gets to be a lot of travel. Are you not going to be in the car so much that you miss the atmosphere of the places you go to. You have all that travel on the Sat. Why not give Key West a miss this trip, drive from Miami to Naples (along Alligator Alley)and enjoy Naples. Miami to key West is such a long journey.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Your itinery is hectic. Daytona and Clearwater are on different coasts and you will not want to be driving from one to the other. In my opinion have a day at the park and then a day of rest, the parks are very tiring. Also you appear to be spending a lot of the second half of you holiday driving, it's quite a way from Key West to Naples.

Pills to keep you awake.........sorry............ but wow you are planning to do too much. As suggested the travelling to Miami/Key West and Naples is not really doable in that time frame, you would just be in the car the whole time.

Are you flying to or from Key west. It is a long way down from either , Miami, Naples or Orlando. I take it you like beach holidays?

Welcome to the Forum Yousaf. Like the others, I believe you have included a lot in your itinerary and might find yourself running out of steam. You have planned a longish drive east to KSC on the second day after arrival (I presume from the UK) and then considered Clearwater on the west coast of Florida on the following day! Even though Clearwater is a much better beach, I suggest that you stay overnight at KSC and go to Daytona Beach the following morning.

Also, I suggest a swapping your visits to Ioa & Universal. For some reason, IoA is busier than Universal on a Wednesday and it is the reverse on Thursday. So, go to Universal on Wednesday 13th & IoA on the following day.

After Discovery Cove, return to the villa and get some much needed rest (you'll need it, by the look of this itinerary!) before tackling Sea World as planned the next day. Remember, Saturday will be busy at Sea World.

Sorry for any confusion; we will be attending one or the other of the beaches, not both

I understand your concerns regarding the distances but I really wanted to see Key West. But, we may have to succumb to your superior knowledge & save it for another time. The last five days are very flexible; don't have anything booked as such so will leave some time in there for R & R

Nostromo, thanks for the advice regarding IoA & Universal; will change those days over

Is Gatorland any good? was told it is a good 1/2 day attraction...

    Hi Yousaf,

Personally, I think I would ditch Gatorland and Boggy Creek airboats, and then move one of your Universal Days onto this day. This gives you a day to relax by the pool before you go to Discovery Cove. The last thing you want to do is pay heaps for the day at DC and then be too tired to really enjoy it to the full.

I would also agree with some of the previous ideas. Consider ditching the time in Miami and head straight down to Key West so that you can have a couple of days down there. Very chilled. Excellent! Or ditch the long drive down to Key West and head straight over to Naples for a bit of beachfront luxury.

Sounds like a plan. Thing is I've been to Miami before & aren't really bothered about going again. My wife hasn't been though... will talk to her

Isn't Key West itself quite expensive?
