    New Travelodge at Manchester Airport

New 200-Bed Low-Cost Hotel For Manchester Airport

Travelodge, working in partnership with Manchester Airport Developments (MADL), has announced that it is to start work on its largest new-build project outside of London - a 200-bedroom hotel at Manchester Airport

The £8million Travelodge, to be located next to the main access road into Terminal 2, is due to open in November 2005.

The new hotel will be built by Manchester Airport Developments, the property and development arm of the Manchester Airports Group, and leased to Travelodge for 25 years.

    That is good news.

We normally stay at the Plaza, so no doubt this will save a few quid.

We use Bewleys at Manchester Airport (Formally the Holiday Inn)
Cost £59 per night but they do car parking/hotel packages for £89 for 15 days. You can walk to terminal 1 within 5 minutes or termninal 2 in 10 minutes.

Cant see where they would put it as theres not much space on the approach to T2.

However they have started clearing a load of land next to the T2 car park

Its being build near the cargo terminal, if you take the Wilmslow turn off - its the other side of the motorway (M56) to the Marriott[msnwink]
