    Small World to Re-open March

Looks like Small world will be reopening this month. I know lots of people hate it, I love it, I know it is cheesey but it is a nice gentle ride that does not make me feel sick[msnscared]

This is the excerpt from the Disney Site:-

    'it's a small world' will not be operating May 2, 2004 - March 18, 2005,
    Lyn

That's good news. I like the ride. Apart from the fact that I think it is a good ride, I use it to cool down and rest a bit [msnwink].

I'm not on my own I'll have you know..see the thread on worst rides....perhaps the most outspoken on this subject[laugh][laugh][laugh]

Maybe there are improvements...like no flippin music...

(you know I love it really and wil spend the rest of today trying to find cheap flights so I can be there for the opening)

The kids love it but i dont. That tune gets into your head and you cannot get it out of your mind.
Still one of the few rides at MK that you can walk straignt onto.

Wouldn't have minded getting royalties on the "small world" song. Unless Disney have the rights(which they probably do!)the guy who wrote it must be worth a fortune.(or in an institution somewhere?)

That and the "Countdown" thirty second song!! [msnsad][msneek]Dah Dah - Dah Dah - Dibbily - Blah

I can't wait to take my son and nephew on it in April! They are little, save the big rides for them for a few years time!!!

Maggie, how about a doorbell chime fitted with the 'small world' tune at your house? I heard that it is the current rage in Orlando, and speaking of rages....[laugh][laugh]
