I think the majority of airlines are going eticket now. Our trip next week certainly is.
We just grab a handful when we check in and fill them in whilst waiting and keep spares for the next trip which we can then do before we leave for the airport. I also keep my own bought tag on for easy id, it is bright pink! (Good idea to put your name inside the case to).

You don't have to have airline tags as the bar coded baggage tag is the important one - just buy your own for your name, but don't put your address on it[msnwink]
Sorry, just remembered when we arrived for the twilight check in they gave us some tags.(Hubby just reminded me) We added these to some of the bags, there was 7 of us. When we came home they had spare labels which we used as well, these were given to us when we checked in at Disney Downtown.

We have been flying on e-tickets for the last couple of years, and put our own labels on our luggage, and the airlines tag your baggage when you check them in anyway.

We always just use our own luggage tags now too (but without our address on them).

I have used E-tickets often and never came across separate luggage tags. But we do pick-up a few at check-in and put them on hand luggage as usual. As for cabib baggage, we tend to use our own cards.
Mach 2, I might have missed something here but why do you say "don't put your address on it?"

Having your home address on your lugggage labels can advertise that your house will be empty while you are away on holiday.
We put our address on the inside of the bags in case they get lost.
